During December 2019 and January 2020 I interned on the news desk for the local, independent Radio Plymouth. 
Whilst working at the station I quickly put into practice the radio skills I had learnt on my degree; recording and editing interviews and creating bulletins. 
Each day I found stories and interviews, conducted vox-pops, wrote scripts and read both the community and entertainment news segments.
