On the outset of the global Covid-19 pandemic and in my final semester of university I reported for Newsquest's UK Today office covering national stories on health, politics, entertainment and more. 
Pitching, researching, writing and creating stories with both local and national scopes in a quick turnaround was key to my role. 
The majority of my stories have had between 100,000 to 400,000 views averaging more than 1,000,000 views per month.
