University Portfolio - Multimedia Journalism BA (Hons)

Studying my undergraduate degree in Multimedia Journalism has enabled me to develop a multi-faceted approach to modern journalism.

TV and Radio - I have edited, produced and presented live broadcasts on a range of political topics including the Brexit referendum and the General Election 2019. I presented the Our Time panel debate where I interviewed a range of local MP's about the  GE2019 and worked as TV editor leading a team of over 100 students from across the country bringing live, all-night, TV coverage of the election.

News and Online - The proficient use of Adobe software was paramount to my studies. InDesign was used frequently to create features and an online magazine.

Features - My final project was a campaigning feature titled 'Visibility for Infertility' which aimed to shine a light on female infertility at all ages.

Documentary - During the second year of my degree I produced and presented a 7-minute documentary called "Britain's forgotten children" which focused on the number of care leavers entering university. I also edited and produced an iDocumentary using Klynt about commercial housing developments within Bournemouth, working closely with members of the council.

NCTJ - I am due to complete my NCTJ Diploma in December and am currently on track for Gold Standard.
